We are Kip, Carter, and Logan and we are high school sophomores in Austin, Tx. We are honored to be candidates for Team Cure Crew for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) 2025 Austin Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign. We have created a team with 8 of our friends to help those with cancer. 

The Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign is a seven-week leadership development program running from January 10, 2025, to March 1, 2025. Our goal is to raise $100,000 in critical funds to help blood cancer patients not only survive but thrive after treatment. Every dollar raised through this campaign will directly support LLS’s mission to find a cure for blood cancers and improve the quality of life for those affected.

As part of this incredible initiative, we are reaching out to ask for your support. Whether through a donation, spreading the word, or simply offering encouragement, your involvement will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those battling leukemia, lymphoma, and other blood cancers.

LLS works to achieve our mission by focusing on three areas:

• Research – advanced 75 percent of the blood cancer treatment options approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) over the last five years.
• Advocacy - empowers advocates across the country to share their stories and prompt lawmakers to act on public policy issues that matter to blood cancer patients and survivors – from improving access to treatment to promoting meaningful insurance coverage for patients to accelerating new cures.
• Patient & Education Support - this includes support groups, education for healthcare professionals, and financial stipends to patient families to alleviate costs of treatment not covered by insurance.
